Ravager
The first thing Ravager aims to do is cease enmity generation from its Mercenary base class. It does this with Massacre, which, while active, negates effects that increase enmity while damaging all nearby enemies continually.
Ravager takes all the best damaging actions from Mercenary [formerly Dark Knight] and adds several ways to pick and choose which targets take the brunt of your assault. By design, Ravager is a selfish DPS -- it does little to benefit other party members and does much to increase its own damage output. Hard Slash > Mark of Death as a combo will cause a target to take increased damage from your Massacre effect. Jetstream separately increases Massacre's effect for enemies in a straight line, and these two Massacre enhancements can stack. Gigantbane and No Mercy each combo after Mark of Death and add enfeebling effects that only benefit the Ravager. Reap and Midlight each consume the Ravager's HP to deal damage. These skills are designed to give Ravager a feel closer to that of a classic Dark Knight in Final Fantasy games. Note also that several actions from the former Dark Knight have been moved around to better accommodate the transition into Ravager from the Mercenary base class.
